He worked for 36 years at Petrobras, where he implemented Reliability and Asset Management methodologies at the technical, managerial, and executive levels. At Petrobras, he served as General Manager of 5 Refineries in Brazil, 1 Exploration and Production Business Unit, 1 corporate area of Asset Management and Operational Excellence. Certified Fellow in Asset Management (CFAM) by the Australian Asset Management Council in 2013 and CAMA in 2014 by WPiAM/ABRAMAN. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) by the US Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professional (SMRP) in 2012. He was CEO of Fábrica Carioca de Catalisadores in Rio de Janeiro. He was President of ABRAMAN and is currently President of its Deliberative Council. He was Board Member of PQS, CITEPE, COPENOR, METANOR, ABRAMAN, GFMAM and director of WPiAM. Author of 11 books published in Brazil and abroad on Asset Management, Reliability and Health, Safety and Environment. Visiting MBA professor at FGV-RJ, Fundação Gorceix-MG, UFRJ and UTFPR. Coordinator of the ABNT Special Study Commission (CEE-251) on Asset Management since 2013. Representative of Brazil at TC-251.DBA PhD student in Administration. MBA in Administration.
